- Scanned the 4WD control module and retrieved diagnostic trouble code U0102 – Lost Communication With Transfer Case Control Module. Raised vehicle and inspected the module on top of the rear differential. Cleaned the connector and applied dielectric grease to the connector. Cleared the trouble codes and codes have not returned.
- Verified customers concern. Performed battery load test, passed. Performed alternator output test, failed. Tested power and ground to the alternator. Found that the connection at the starter that feeds the alternator have burned causing intermittent connection. Repaired wires, cleaned the terminals and tightened. Performed alternator output test, passed.
