- B1342• Verified battery voltage and ground connections to the ABS module; both are within normal operating range. • Inspected ABS module wiring and connectors for damage, corrosion, or loose connections; all appear in good condition. • No visible issues with fuses or relays related to the ABS system. • Performed a full system scan with no additional codes found. • No voltage spikes or drops detected during operation. Diagnosis & Recommendation: • ABS module is faulty and requires replacement to resolve DTC B1342 and restore proper ABS functionality.
- Removed the ABS hydraulic control unit and replaced with new. Removed the wheels and performed brake bleed procedure. Reinstalled the wheels and torqued to specification. Cleared the diagnostic trouble codes. Road tested vehicle to verify repairs. All checks are ok at this time.
