- Performed pre-scan of all on-board control modules and retrieved diagnostic trouble codes P0700 – Transmission Control Module Requested MIL Illumination stored in the PCM. P0873 – Transmission Pressure Switch 3 Circuit High Voltage, P2714 – Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Stuck Off. Transmission fluid is burnt. Recommend transmission replacement.
- Removed the catalytic converter assembly. Removed the engine subframe. Removed the transmission assembly and replaced with new. Reinstalled the engine subframe. Reinstalled the catalytic converter assembly and replaced gasket with new. Added new fluid to the transmission. Performed transmission relearn procedure. Cleared any diagnostic trouble codes.
