Services Performed
- Scanned the Engine Control Module (ECM) for diagnostic trouble codes and retrieved P0673 – Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Control. Tested and found glow plug on cylinder 3 has failed. Recommend cylinder 3 glow plug. Also retrieved P0128 – Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Below Thermostat Temperature. Tested and found that the thermostats are stuck open. Recommend thermostats.
- Change engine oil and replace oil filter Check P/S Fluid Check and Replace Air Filter, if needed Check Differential Fluids Check Tire Pressure and Wear Check Belts and Hoses Check Transmission Fluid Check Washer Fluid Check Leaks Check Battery Check Transfer Case Fluid Added Fluids As Needed
- Disposal Fee
- Drained the cooling system. Removed both thermostats and replaced with new. Added new coolant to the cooling system. Road tested vehicle and inspected for leaks. No leaks found at this time.
- Removed the cylinder #3 glow plug and replaced with new. Cleared the diagnostic trouble codes. Road tested vehicle to verify repairs. All checks are ok at this time.
