- Evacuated the A/C system and recovered 0 lbs R134a. Performed automated vacuum leak test, passed. Inspected the system for any signs of obvious leaks, none found. Inspected the system for any damage, none found. Inspected the system electrical connections, all ok. Recharged the A/C system to specification. 1.21 lbs R134a. Added leak detection dye to help aide in detection of small leaks. Performed A/C system performance test, failed. A/C compressor does not engage. Tested the power and ground to the compressor, ok. Found compressor has internal fault.
- Change engine oil and replace oil filter Check P/S Fluid Check and Replace Air Filter, if needed Check Differential Fluids Check Tire Pressure and Wear Check Belts and Hoses Check Transmission Fluid Check Washer Fluid Check Leaks Check Battery Check Transfer Case Fluid Added Fluids As Needed
- Evacuated the A/C system. Removed the serpentine belt. Removed the A/C compressor and replaced with new. Reinstalled the serpentine belt.
- Performed automated vacuum leak test, passed. Recharged the system to specification, 1.21 lbs R134a. Performed A/C system performance test, passed. A/C operates as designed.
