Cleaned throttle body and completed the idle relearn procedure. Cleared the code and test drove the vehicle while monitoring MAF sensor data—readings were stable and within expected range, with no rough running or drivability concerns noted. A dirty throttle body is a common cause of this code, and the system is now operating normally.

2013 RAM 1500

Further inspection showed that the CAN C Bus was losing communication with affected modules. Replaced the CAN C Bus connector with new, cleared the diagnostic trouble codes. Road tested vehicle multiple miles and no loss communication codes have returned. Vehicle is running and driving as designed.

- Replaced bent push rod on cylinder #5. Misfire still present. Need to remove cylinder head and inspect lifter / camshaft for damage.
- Removed the left side cylinder head and inspected for lifter / camshaft damage. Camshaft is heavily scored and needs replaced. Recommend camshaft and lifters replaced.
- Replaced the camshaft with new. Replaced all lifters with new. Replaced all associated gaskets with new. Cleaned the oil pan of any debris. Replaced the oil and filter with new. Vacuum bled the cooling system with new coolant.
