    • Inspected motor mount and they are normal. Engine is running rough due to a misfire on cylinder #2.After inspection found valve not sealing on #2 cylinder. Need to remove cylinder heads.
    • Inspected and found code p0442 for evap system small leak. Purge Valve is sticking open. Needs purge valve Engine is running rough due to a misfire on cylinder #2.After inspection found valve not sealing on #2 cylinder. Need to remove cylinder heads.
    • Removed cylinder heads. Head the cylinder heads checked for leakage. Cylinder were disassembled and had the carbon removed from the valve. Reinstalled cylinder heads
    • Pressure tested the cylinder heads for cracks, none found. All valves have excessive carbon buildup causing valve to stick. #2 cylinder had at leak at the exhaust valve. Cleaned valves and retested, ok. Resurfaced cylinder heads.

Rotors are below specification and cannot be refinished. Replaced the rotors with new. Reinstalled the front wheels and torqued to specification. Road tested vehicle to verify repairs. Brakes operate as designed.

    • Removed the catalytic converter. Removed the transmission support. Removed the right side inner fender liner. Removed the starter assembly and replaced with new. Reinstalled the transmission support. Reinstalled the catalytic converter. Vehicle starts as designed.
    • Removed both batteries and replaced with customer supplied.
    • Removed the fuel filter element and replaced with new. Reset fuel life monitor. Reinstalled the right side inner fender liner. Road tested vehicle.

    • Scanned the Engine Control Module (ECM) for diagnostic trouble codes and retrieved P0304 – Misfire Cylinder 4 Detected. Removed the intake manifold, removed the valve cover and inspected for damage, found broken intake valve spring on cylinder 4. Recommend to remove cylinder and send to machine shop to inspect cylinder heads for any further damage. Customer declined repairs at this time.
