Customer reports the check engine light was on and previously retrieved lean codes P0171 and P0174. Customer cleared the codes prior to inspection, which also cleared the freeze-frame data. At this time, live fuel-trim readings show +2% at idle on both banks, indicating normal operation. At 2500 RPM, fuel trims rise slightly to +6% on the left bank and +7% on the right bank, which is still within an acceptable range and does not currently indicate a lean condition. No active fault codes are present at this time. Continued monitoring is recommended to see if the lean codes return so proper freeze-frame data can be captured for further diagnosis.

Drained the cooling system. Vacuum bled the cooling system with new coolant. Inspected for leaks. No leaks found at this time.
Drained the transmission fluid. Refilled the transmission with new fluid. Rechecked the fluid level at recommended operating temperature, level is ok at this time. Inspected for any transmission fluid leaks, none found at this time.
Removed the wheels and rotated. Torqued wheels to specification. Adjusted tire pressures to specification.

Removed the front wheels. Removed the front brake pads and replaced with new. Cleaned and lubricated the brake caliper hardware. Removed the front brake rotors for refinishing. Rotors are within specification and can be refinished.

Removed the crankshaft position sensor and replaced with new. Vehicle starts as designed but has stalled shortly after. Found that both fuel filters were leaking. The one on the frame rail was leaking diesel fuel and the one under the hood was sucking in air. Needs both fuel filters replaced and recheck.
Removed both fuel filters and replaced with new. Vehicle starts and runs as designed. Road tested vehicle to verify repairs. Vehicle runs and drives as designed.
Charged both batteries and performed load test. Both batteries passed the load test.

B272C Driver Differential Temperature Fault. The driver side seat back blower motor is inoperable causing a temperature difference between the seat cushion and seat back. The SCME is shutting off the seat heater due to the temperature difference. Needs driver side seat back blower assembly replaced and rechecked.
Removed the driver side seat back cover. Removed the seat back blower motor assembly and replaced with new. Reinstalled the seat back cover. Seat heater is operating as designed. Both heater elements at approximately 200 degrees.
