- Verified customers concern. No communication with the steering column control module. Tested power and ground to the steering column control module, all checks are ok. Needs steering column control module and reprogram.
- Removed the driver side airbag. Removed the steering column covers. Removed the steering column control module assembly and replaced with new. Performed reprogram procedure. Reinstalled the steering column covers. Reinstalled the driver side airbag. Cleared the diagnostic trouble codes. All steering wheel controls operate as designed.
