- Scanned the Engine Control Module (ECM) for diagnostic trouble codes and retrieved P0496 – EVAP Flow During a Non-Purge Condition. Tested and found that the EVAP purge solenoid is stuck open at all times. Recommend purge valve and recheck the operation.
- Removed the EVAP purge solenoid and replaced with new. Cleared the diagnostic trouble code. Road tested vehicle to verify repairs. Vehicle runs and drives as designed.
