- Removed the thermostat assembly and replaced with new. Cleared the diagnostic trouble codes. Road tested vehicle to perform readiness monitor reset. EGR valve readiness monitor is not complete. P0128 is stored in permanent and will need to be driven to clear permanent code.
- Scanned the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) for diagnostic trouble codes and retrieved P0128 – Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature) stored in permanent codes.
